"I wouldn’t say crazy. I prefer the term ‘silly’ – it implies less mental instability and more… well, an affinity for shenanigans."
-Hephaestus, epilogue (Rust & Revolutionaries)
If you’ve talked to me for about five minutes, you’ve probably heard about my passion project: Rust & Revolutionaries. For the past four years I’ve spent countless hours developing its world and characters, figuring out backstories and character designs and slowly weaving together the first draft of a fully-fledged novel. As of writing this I’ve finished the first draft and am heading into the second phase: refining the characters arcs and worldbuilding and writing the second draft.
The story revolves around various characters involved in a robot Revolution and explores themes surrounding healthy friendships and trust. It includes both human and (humanoid) robot characters and how their differences affect their relationship, social standings and way of looking at the world. I’ve included a few character profile squares below so you can get an idea of the cast, you can find more of them sprinkled throughout my portfolio on the home page. Once I’ve gotten more of the second draft written, I hope to be able to share some sneak previews of the writing itself here on the website!
